Technical and Warranty
Manufacturer's Warranty
To show you how confident we are about the tyres we make, each one of them that bears our name and serial number is guaranteed to be free from defects in material quality and workmanship.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
If you call our attention to a possible defect in your Goodyear tyre and if our examination shows that our product has failed under the terms of this warranty, we will be more than willing to make a reasonable allowance on the purchase of a new similar product. The allowance we will make shall be based on the treadwear remaining on the defective tyre.
This warranty is valid exclusively for the owner actually using the covered products. It is non-transferable and no claim be recognized unless the tyre is submitted along with the original invoice and Warranty Card while duly filling out and signing our standard claim form.
CLAIMING YOUR WARRANTY
What You Need To Make A Claim : Warranty Card, Original copy of invoice and damaged tyre.
Where To Make A Claim : Any GOODYEAR SERVITEK or TYRE PRO outlet.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
- Present the damaged tyre along with the original purchase invoice and Warranty Card to a Servitek or Tyre Pro outlet for GOODYEAR MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY inspection and thorough analysis. Inspection will be undertaken by a Goodyear Certified Tyre Adjuster.
- If the damaged is found to be the result of a manufacturing defect, the tyre will be considered under warranty, provided the age of the tyre falls within a required period ( refer to types of warranty ). GOODYEAR will then provide against a purchase of a new tyre with the same size and design (or a comparable tyre, which is an equivalent design or model with the same size construction and quality level). The credit value will depend on the tread depth remaining.
- Credit computation will be based on the assessed value of the remaining original tread of the damaged tyre using the original invoice price as reference. Customer will fill out and sign a standard claim form to facilitate processing of credit, subsequently, Warranty Card will be returned to the customer after processing of warranty if card corresponds to more than one tyre.
- If the tyre is found not to be defective or not caused by a manufacturing defect, the Servitek or Tyre Pro personnel, with assistance from the Certified Tyre Adjuster, will return the tyre to the customer, formally explaining why the tyre has been classified as such.
- Please seek the assistance of a Goodyear Certified Tyre Adjuster from any Servitek or Tyre Pro oultlet to determine what constitutes a manufacturing defect and other details about tyre warranty.
- Tampering of any kind on Goodyear products automatically invalidates the warranty ( e.g. Tampered serial number, ply rating of tyre size, etc.).
- All tyers awarded warranty will have to be surrendered to the Servitek or Tyre Pro outlet and become the property of Goodyera Philippines, Inc.
- Tyre damage analysis and assigned credit value determined by Goodyear remain final.
